How can I configure the E-mail in OUTLOOK 2011 (Mac)?

Steps to Configure OUTLOOK 2011

Step 1: Open the Outlook

You will see the OUTLOOK Welcome banner

Step 2: Click the Tool menu and then select Account

Step 3: Click on E-mail Account icon. In that window provide your Email account information

Step 4: Enter your Username

Step 5: Enter your E-mail Address

Step 6: Enter your Password

Step 7: Select the Type as POP or IMAP

We preferred IMAP because this displays the content of mail box in server also. IMAP only configure the Spam folder

Step 8: Enter incoming server address in incoming mail server

Step 9: Enter incoming server port.

To change the incoming server port enables the Override default port

For IMAP:

Step 10: If you are using SSL port, then select Use SSL to connect

Step 11: Enter smtpout.secureserver.net in outgoing mail server

Step 12: Enter outgoing server port.

To change the outgoing server port enables the Override default port

To prevent from common authentication issues in outlook we prefer to use SSL and port 465 for SMTP connections.

Step 13: If you are using SSL port, then select Use SSL to connect

Step 14: Then press Add Account

Step 15: Next, configure the outgoing server setting. Click More option

Step 16: From Authentication menu select Username and Password

Step 17: Then enter your mail address and password

Step 18: Click OK

Now your E-mail is configured in outlook 2011.
